LYSAGHT SupaZed® and SupaCee® Purlins Software
The University of Sydney have recognised the advantages and versatility in the LYSAGHT® SupaPurlin range and have designed a computer program specifically for the analysis and design of purlin sections using these products.
The LYSAGHT® SupaPurlin software was developed by The University of Sydney to allow for section designs in numerous configurations, including LYSAGHT SupaCee® and LYSAGHT SupaZed® profiles in all sizes as well as section designs with or without roof sheeting. It is designed in accordance to AS/NZS 4600:2005 : Cold Formed Sections and can also use the design rules of the 1996 edition where required. A fully documented on-line help system is also available.

The University of Sydney has commercial agreements in place for use of this software. In Queensland and South Australia, BlueScope Lysaght have agreed to meet the requirements of these commercial arrangements while in other states a licensing charge is payable by the software user.
To obtain a copy of the software, please follow the steps below:
- Download the LYSAGHT® SupaPurlin® software from http://www.civil.usyd.edu.au/case/supapurlin.shtml
- Follow the installation details to obtain a "Site Key"
- Email the "Site Key" to Steel Direct together with the following information:
- Name
- Company
- Telephone No - A BlueScope Lysaght representative will contact you for further details and issue the "Site Code" for activation and registration of the product.
- Enter the "Site Code" to complete full installation and licensing the software
