Exceeding all forecasts, BlueScope Steel's residential house framing material, TRUECORE® steel, has taken the Australian building market by storm, notching up 100,000 tonnes worth of steel framing just two years after launching.

Representing enough steel framing to surround Australia nearly four times¹ and enough to build more than 45,000 house frames², the 100,000 tonne mark is most significant because it comes at a time when unprecedented numbers of home builders are turning to steel as their preferred house framing material.
